Week Four

This is an easy one, purposefully so in order to focus your attention on a kind of summary of SOSR and the most important application to you as a change agent.
There is a small amount of reading required within the template above so you can spend a bit more time on thinking about the points listed in the template. You only have one question to complete, at the end, in the right column.
Then, as usual, create a new page and copy and past the entire template with your answer into your new page and link from your frontpage.
PAT II
Be sure your completed PAT II template is posted on your team PBWorks site and either linked to from the body of the frontpage or linked from the Sidebar. Although the last day of class is Thursday, I can guarantee you I won't have a chance to grade until the following Sunday due to multiple deadlines I have to meet. I don't want you working beyond the span of the course but, if you get in a bind on your schedules, you have more time. Be sure your PAT II is copied and pasted to its own page, not just linked to a Word document.
Team Presentation
Below are two PowerPoints to introduce a conceptually-based, new way to put together a PowerPoint presentation. Imagine your team is creating your presentation to make your case to the school board for a new policy or changes to an existing policy. Your PAT II will serve as your source data for the presentation.
I'm not suggesting you spend hours on these two PowerPoints but give the concept some thought, enough so you get the key ideas of how this presentation style is different from the typical, boring PowerPoint:
Each of the above should bring up your PowerPoint program.
Note: there are several EXAMPLE SLIDES in Part II above. You can easily import any example slide into your PowerPoint and modify it to use in your presentation. Below is a screenshot of an example slide:

Notice how this approach uses all of the "real estate" of the page and does not treat the viewer like a dummy who must be guided through each of the points. Note also that you can embed links to supporting data sources.
Again, use your work on PAT II to provide the information you need to assemble your PowerPoint according to the approach in the 7 Slide Solution.
SUMMARY:
For WEEK FOUR, you will be "turning in" via your personal site and your team site, the following:
a. Your SOSR Template II - on your personal site
b. Your team PAT II - on the team site
c. Your team presentation by PowerPoint - on the team site
I'll be available this Wed at 4:30 again if you need help.
